ELCs and SLCs are Ministry of Defence funded learning credits available to eligible serving personnel and veterans. IoSCM is an approved provider for both schemes.
Your Entitlements
The Enhanced Learning Credit (ELC) scheme promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. It provides financial support for higher-level learning by encouraging service personnel to gain the qualifications they need for their civilian careers.
IoSCM is a registered ELC provider — meaning you can use your credits directly with us to fund a wide range of our qualifications. Our team will guide you through the process from start to finish.
Available to service personnel with more than 6 years of service. ELCs can provide up to £2,000 per year for up to 3 years towards approved Level 3+ qualifications.
Available from day one of service, SLCs provide up to £175 per year for learning and development activities. They can be used for our Bite-Size courses and short programmes.
IoSCM is fully registered with the MOD ELC scheme. Our team can help you identify which qualifications are fundable and assist with the claims process.
