As you will be aware, careers in the Ministry of Defence are exciting, interesting and very varied. Whether your experience has been within the Armed Forces or the Civil Service, there may come a time when you are faced with the decision of whether to move to a commercial role outside of the MOD.

Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) is a bespoke trading entity, an arm’s length body of the Ministry of Defence (MOD). Employing around 12,500 people and with a budget of £14 billion, DE&S plays a vital role in maintaining military operational capability by acquiring and supporting a wide range of world class equipment and services
To achieve our goals, we need people with diverse backgrounds and disciplines. These include: project management, engineering, information technology, finance, procurement and logistics.
Not officers for protecting the streets, Ministry of Defence Police (MDP) protect sites of national importance, plus everything on them and everyone in them. It’s vital, sensitive work that takes our Officers across England, Scotland and Wales in a whole range of roles, from the specialist Marine Unit to the Dog Section, CID to Special Escort Group, and from Tactical to Central or Operational Support. MDP officers even lend their specialist skills to other police forces.
