Military Pathways
Service Leaver, Veteran or Reservist
Over 14,000 service people come on to the commercial sector each year. All of which possess a diverse skill set and include:
Logisticians | Operations Specialists | Project Managers | Engineers | Trainers | Chefs | Nurses, Doctors & other medical professions | Communications Expert
The diverse skill set comes from operating in the most complex of environments and situations. However, teamwork, adaptability, planning, technical abilities and the will to win are not the only attributes that service leavers have to offer employers.
They also possess a moral compass that points to the true north, having lived and breathed values and standards for the duration of their career.
Military Pathways exist for the simple reason that the commercial sector have switched on to the fact that there is a unique and diverse talent pool of people looking for their next career, that are both competent, adaptable and available.
Some of the organisations (large enterprises) are taking advantage of the pool of talent, knowing that they are gaining people that have great foundations, providing them with training and furthermore the opportunity to then excel through employment in the commercial sector, these are now described as Pathways (Military Pathways).
