After a busy few weeks of putting my own resettlement to the top of my priority list I have definitely taken positive steps forward. I started off with an amazing meeting with John Blowes about my next steps and becoming a member of IoSCM, with lots of help from Megan Slater.

Having completed my RAF apprenticeship, I wanted to expand my knowledge of the wider supply chain. I want to build up my knowledge for when I leave the RAF as I would like to work in a management position. The level 3 warehousing course has given me a better insight into the responsibilities a manager would have and how to meet standards and requirements. I have already used some of the things I have learned about storing items to better my practice of making the work environment more efficient and safer. I would recommend this course to others as it is flexible around full-time work and will increase your knowledge of the warehousing roles and responsibilities, as well as the wider industry.

Utilising my Enhanced Learning Credits to achieve the Level 5 Diploma from IoSCM has enabled me to choose the areas of study to suit my new career at Amazon. Having selected warehousing, quality, logistics & transport and supply chain I have an indepth understanding and wide range of skills and knowledge. Having this highly recognised qualification on my CV gave me the opportunity to move forward into my next rewarding career.
